** Legislators Back Down from Confederate Flag Threat. (Mississippi) (Loss) This was in regards to financial sanctions against the state supported universities for refusing to fly the stat flag because part of it has the Confederate Flag on it. This is too bad. Cowards!. If the schools don't want to fly the flag, they should not be getting state support.
** Now a group in Lafayette, Louisiana, wants statue of General Alfred Mouton removed. (Loss) Of course, the general was a Confederate. Let's hope that the people in power there don't give in to a few people.
