**  South Carolina Republican Who Defended Confederate Flag Proposes Mandatory Criminal Background Checks for Journalists.  (Hard to Call)  State Representative Mike Pitts.  Not sure what this has to do with the flag removal.

**  Baltimore Sun editorial  "Take the statues down."  (Loss)  Looks like the paper wants to be relegated to lower case.  The baltimore sun.
