From the June 20, Chicago Tribune "12 dead at least 41 hurt in weekend shootings>  Alexandra Chachkevitch.

Twelve people, mostly black shot to death and 41 wounded, including a 4-year-old boy in separate shootings in Chicago between 5 p.m. Friday and early Monday  morning.  So far this year, there have been 1780 shot.  The first one was a 16-year-old boy in West Englewood, a primarily black area, who was shot at 9:01 p.m. on Friday.

Twenty-eight were wounded and three fatally between 8:30 a.m. Saturday to 4:30 a.m. Sunday..  Four more were killed and 7 wounded between Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning.

Interesting to note. that there were no Confederate Flags, Confederate statues or Confederate memorials involved in any of the shootings.
