Co. A Captains:

Rollin M. Strong--  of Reedsburg, Wisconsin    December 19, 1861-September 30, 1863, promoted to major.
Henry A. Tator of Reedsburg, Wis..  September 30, 1863 to May 23, 1865
Alex P. Ellingwood of Reedsburg, Wis.  May 23, 1865, to transfer to Co. E, June 1865.

Captain Ellingwood/Ellonwood according to the article on the Wisconson drummer boy, would have been Frank Pettis/Pettys' captain for a very short time.

There were a lot of men from Reedsburg and Baraboo in the company.

The flags of the 19th Wisconsin, both state and national were conserved in 1993. and are at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison, Wisconsin
