** American flags removed from Confederate graves on Memorial Day. (Not sure if this is a win or loss.) 163 American flags removed from Confederate graves at Shiloh. You are allowed to fly small Confederate Flags at National Cemeteries on Memorial Day and Confederate Memorial Day in states that observe it.
Hard to say if they were removed by a Confederate sympathizer who was offended by U.S. flags flying on the graves or someone who hates Confederates and doesn't think they should be so honored.
