No Mention of Black Complicity in Slavery

Last night I saw the History Channel's "History of Roots" show which gave the historic facts about their excellent mini-series.

However, once again, no direct statement was made as to black African involvement in the slave trade.  It was alluded to in the scenes shown which showed blacks taking other blacks to Europeans and selling them into slavery.  But there were no words to the fact that this happened.

It is very hard to get blacks to admit to their role in the enslavement of African blacks.

They did say that just one in three Southern families owned slaves and that most of them owned very few, likely five or less.  I imagine that life for slaves on a small farm would be different from that of ones on a large plantation.
