There was so much history and Civil War entries, I spun two more off. Starting Jan. 1, 2012, I will be spinning a Naval blog off this one called "Running the Blockade."

Alicia Rhett-- Edmund Moore Rhett's daughter.
William Rhett-- Captured the pirate Stede Bonnet.
Edward Rutledge-- Signer of Declaration of Independence and American Revolution
