Union Veterans League

I came across this organization in my research and hadn't ever heard of them before. I found this in Answers.com. //// Membership in this organization was open only to those who had served at least two years and those who had been wounded. Because of its limited membership numbers, its political and cultural significance was secondary to the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), which was the largest Union veterans group by far. //// I have heard of the GAR many times. //// Always Good to Remember, Especially This Time of the Year With November 11th Approaching. --Old Secesh
