The Confederacy Under Attack-- Part 322: Famous Americans Who Are Descendants of Confederate Soldiers

From July 20, 2016, Google Alerts for Confederate.

In my last Confederacy Under Attack post on Friday, I mentioned that Confederates are legally U.S. military veterans.

Here are some, and that is just some, famous Americans who are descendants of Confederates:

Marine General John A. Lejeune's father was Confederate Army Captain Ovide Lejeune.  Camp Lejeune Marine Corps base in North Carolina is named after John Lejeune.

Marine Lt. General Lewis "Chesty" Puller's grandfather was Confederate Major John Puller, killed in 1864.

Army Lt. General George S. Patton III's grandfather was Col. George Patton, killed in 1864.

And, There Are More.  --Old Secesh
