The Confederacy Under Attack-- Part 194: Houston Still Renaming Confederate Schools

From Feb. 12, 2016, Google Alerts for Confederate.

**  Chancellor Volunteer Fire and Rescue membership votes to reinstate uniform patch with Confederate Flag.  (Virginia)  (Win)  original patch had an eagle with crossed U.S. and Confederate flags.

**  HISD Votes To rename 3 More Schools Named With Confederate Ties.  (Houston, Texas)  (Loss)  They are Albert Sidney Johnston (general) and Sidney Lanier (poet) middle schools and Jefferson Davis High School.  Renaming will cost $250,000 for each school  Back in November the school board also renamed Richard Dowling Middle School, Lee High School and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson Middle School.  You'd think they would have better things to spend money on than renaming schools to be politically correct.
