** Court won't revive Confederate-themed state flag suit. (Mississippi) (Win) A Federal Appeals Court has denied the request by a black lawyer to do away with the state flag. The lawyer vows to take it to the Supreme Court.
** Confederate cannon removed from College Park Middle School. (Orlando, Fla.) (Might as well) The school opened in 1956 and was named Lee Middle School for Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The local UDC donated the cannon to the school in the late 1950s and they decided to remove it after the name change.
