The Confederacy Under Attack-- Part 440: Threats to Statue Removers in New Orleans? Hopefully Not

From the April 13-14, Google Alerts for Confederate.

**  Nungesser begs Trump to save New Orleans Confederate monuments.  (Louisiana)  (Win)  Louisiana Lt. Governor Bill Nungesser.    At least somebody in the state has sense enough to know that those statues are history, whether you like it or not.  Not like that "mayor" of New Orleans (still upper case until the next of the three remaining statues goes down).  Lower case indicates a city of shame, such as (l)ouisville.

Somebody not afraid to stand up for what is right.

**  **  Threats cast at contractors, workers linked to Confederate monument removal.  (New Orleans)  (Loss)  New Orleans officials report that threats have been received.  Even if a pro-statue person disagrees with what is happening, you fight it in the courts, legislative bodies and public opinion, even though there is not much chance of winning there.  A REAL LOST CAUSE as it were.  You don't make threats.  Even worse, you don't follow through.

I hope these threats are nothing more than another attempt to smear pro-Confederates.  If they are real, hopefully those who made the threats will be found, arrested and prosecuted to to the fullest extent of the law.
